Mark Steinbach is a writer and producer in New York. He wrote for Saturday Night Live from 2019 to 2022, where he was nominated for two Emmys. He has taught TV writing at Wellesley College and will be a Distinguished Visiting Writer at Cornell College in 2027. His TV pilot, Platinum Living, won the Writers Guild’s 2024 TV Pilots Resurrected competition and was staged at Lincoln Center. His play, Supertall, was staged at the Tusten Theater in Upstate New York. He’s also produced and developed comedy projects at Apple TV and NBC Universal. In addition to TV writing, his fiction has received support from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference.
